Haas Center Study The Haas Center for Business Research at the University of West Florida was asked by the Okaloosa County School District to provide an assessment of the value that is added by the CHOICE program. Haas Center Research staff collected information from Okaloosa District staff, employers of CHOICE students, the students themselves and their families, with the objective of assessing the economic value of the CHOICE program within these groups and its impact on the regional economy. The study found that the average CHOICE graduate can expect to earn an additional $298,915 income across his/her working lifetime, as compared to a "regular" high school graduate.
